Which Airloom show fits your event?
Signature Drone Show: typically 100 drones, using professionally designed sequences with limited customization. Includes music synchronization, site review, permitting, safety planning and show-day execution.
Custom Story Show: typically 200–500 drones, with an original concept, custom animation and a 3D preview.

How to book a drone light show
The five steps below explain how we move from your event idea to a planned aerial performance, including venue assessment, creative development and live operation.

Step 1: Initial Consultation – Defining Your Vision
Start with your event date, venue or city, audience size, budget and the story you want to tell. Whether you are planning a wedding, corporate event, festival or public celebration, these details help us recommend a suitable show.

Event goals: the occasion, audience and messages or branding you want to feature.
Venue feasibility: launch space, nearby obstacles, audience viewing areas and airspace.
Budget and scope: drone count, creative requirements, number of performances and optional production services.

What happens next?
We review the information, clarify any site questions and prepare a proposal with a recommended show format, scope and pricing. The timing depends on the complexity of the event and the information available. We confirm the proposal timeline with you rather than treating an initial response as a completed feasibility assessment.
Step 2: FAA Approvals & Venue Planning
Airloom reviews the proposed site and coordinates the flight planning, applicable approvals and venue requirements for your show. A promising location still needs an assessment before we can confirm feasibility.
How far in advance should you book?
We recommend contacting us at least 4–6 weeks ahead for planning and creative development. Projects requiring new or complex approvals may need 90 days or more. Shorter timelines depend on availability, the creative scope and existing approvals.
The FAA aims to review waiver requests within 90 days, but processing varies with the application and complexity. That is not a guaranteed approval date. Read the FAA guidance on Part 107 waivers.
Can your venue host a drone show?
We assess the takeoff and landing area, flight space, separation from spectators, obstacles, access and audience sightlines. Golf courses, open fields and waterfront venues can be suitable, subject to the specific site and airspace. Dense urban sites and small venues may be more difficult.
Airspace and operational approvals: we check which authorizations or waivers apply to the proposed flight.
Venue and local coordination: we work through site access, event requirements and responsibilities with your team.

Step 3: Storyboarding & Creative Development
The creative scope depends on the service you choose. A Signature Drone Show adapts existing sequences with limited customization. A Custom Story Show develops an original aerial production around your event, brand or story.

Step 4: 3D Animation & Show Simulation
For an original show, the approved concept becomes a sequence of formations, transitions and timed lighting effects. Simulation helps us review the design before live operation.

What happens during the performance?
The drones follow the prepared choreography while the operating team monitors the flight and conditions. The team may delay, stop or postpone a show if conditions do not support safe operation.
