Airloom projects generally start around $15,000, with most shows beginning at 100 drones. Location, drone count, animation complexity, number of performances and production extras affect the quote. We confirm the scope and price after reviewing your event.

What is included?

Our Signature Drone Show includes professionally designed sequences with limited customization, music synchronization, site-feasibility review, permitting, safety planning and show-day execution. Custom Story Shows add original creative development and a 3D preview. Your proposal identifies the specific inclusions and optional enhancements.

Which package should I choose?

Choose Signature for an adapted show using existing sequences; Custom Story for original animation around your brand or occasion; or an Integrated Experience for a production involving other event elements. Compare our drone light show services.

Can I book multiple performances?

Yes. Tell us how many shows, nights or locations you are considering so we can plan the operation and quote the combined scope. Pricing depends on the logistics and creative requirements.

What is a drone light show?

A drone light show uses a fleet of aircraft with LED lights, flying a planned choreography to create shapes, messages and animated scenes in the sky.

How many drones do I need?

Most Airloom shows begin with 100 drones. Custom Story Shows typically use 200–500. The right fleet size depends on the complexity of the design, audience viewing distance, venue and budget. Ask us about larger or smaller concepts so we can assess what is practical.

Can you create logos, messages and custom colors?

Yes. Text, logos, initials and imagery can be incorporated, subject to the available drone count and design detail. We review what will be recognizable from the audience area. RGB lighting provides a wide range of colors; we discuss how to interpret your brand palette in the sky.

Can the show be synchronized with music or other entertainment?

Yes. We can synchronize choreography with music and plan integration with performers, projection or fireworks where permitted. The creative scope and event coordination are agreed in your proposal.

How long does a drone show last?

A Signature Drone Show is typically around 5–15 minutes. Duration for custom or integrated productions depends on the choreography, fleet and operating conditions. We agree the intended show length during planning.

When are drone shows most visible?

Drone light shows are best viewed after dusk. Viewing distance, ambient light and the orientation of the formations all affect the audience experience.

Where should the audience stand?

We assess sightlines and establish a viewing area separate from the flight and launch areas. Sharing the audience layout early helps us design formations for the intended view.

What events can include a drone show?

Airloom produces shows for weddings, private celebrations, corporate and brand events, festivals, community celebrations, sports and entertainment. We can also discuss productions designed primarily for filming.

What space does a drone show need?

The site needs suitable takeoff and landing space, flight space and separation from spectators. Access, obstacles, terrain and viewing angles also matter. Requirements vary with fleet size and design, so there is no single launch-area size that fits every show.

Can you fly near airports, over water or in a city?

Feasibility depends on the specific location and proposed operation. Airspace restrictions, nearby obstacles and available safety areas can limit a show. Waterfront and urban sites need individual review; a location is not confirmed until the relevant checks and approvals are addressed.

Who handles permits and approvals?

Airloom reviews applicable flight requirements and coordinates the relevant authorizations, waivers and permitting. We work with your event and venue teams on access and local requirements, and clarify each party’s responsibilities during planning.

How high do the drones fly?

The planned altitude depends on the site, airspace and applicable approvals. We confirm a suitable flight plan for the event rather than promising one height for every venue.

What weather can affect a show?

Wind, rain, temperature and other conditions can affect whether a show can proceed. The operating decision depends on the aircraft, site and applicable limits. We assess actual conditions and may delay or postpone when needed.

What happens if weather prevents the show?

We discuss contingency arrangements during booking and coordinate with the event team if conditions change. Available rescheduling options and any related terms depend on your agreement.

What happens if there is a technical problem?

Flight planning, checks and monitoring help identify and manage issues. The team follows the procedures for the aircraft and operation, which may involve stopping the performance. Backup resources and testing arrangements depend on the production scope.

Can drone shows replace fireworks?

Drone shows can provide choreographed imagery without pyrotechnic explosions. They still involve aircraft noise, energy use and site-specific operating considerations. We can help assess whether drones, fireworks or a permitted combination suits your event.

How far ahead should I book?

We recommend contacting Airloom at least 4–6 weeks before your event. Projects requiring new or complex approvals may need 90 days or more. Availability, design scope and approval requirements determine the practical timeline; short-notice requests need individual review.

What should I send with my inquiry?

Include your event date, venue or city, audience size, event type, approximate budget and any creative ideas. If you have a venue plan or proposed viewing area, mention that too.

What happens after I contact you?

We review your details, clarify site questions and recommend next steps for feasibility, scope and a proposal. Proposal timing depends on the complexity of your event and the information available.
